Beautiful people . . .

Beautiful music . . .

Really lovely people . . .

Donna's Tamales are fresh and delicious! They even have a great vegan selection. Vegan coconut milk tapioca and I was a happy mama!

We spent time enjoying the market, talked with the vendors and had lunch then headed out to my old stomping grounds . . .

Limantour Beach, Point Reyes National Seashore

Where we, along with dozens of beach-goers watched a pod of bottle-nose dolphins cruise the shoreline for about a half and hour.

Not sure if this is the same pod I photographed in 2012. I'll need to see if I can match the notches to find out if 'Smootch' is one of this group. More images of these dolphins to come on another post.

  1. How I never got an update on your blog, I don't know!! These are beautiful photos. I especially love the ones of the dolphins. I saw dolphins offshore once, when I was in Virginia Beach. It was before a big storm was coming in. There's something about seeing them, you just feel blessed. Like it's a gift from nature.

    1. Thank you Terri! I originally tossed my 70-200 mm lens in my bag and then decided to pull it out at the last minute. Of course I regretted that decision the minute we saw this pod of dolphins! They were amazing to watch. We don't often see bottle nose this close so to have witnessed and filmed them twice in two years . . . well, I have to say I feel so privileged and grateful for the experience. It is truly a gift . . . The extension of my gratitude is to be able to share the experience through images.

So sorry to hear you missed updates. Facebook and WP can be a bit tweekie . . . and I've been hit or miss posting . . . thanks so much for stopping by and commenting! xxoo
